Position Summary: The Next Generation 911 (NG911) National Account Manager will be responsible for national sales plan and account development opportunities surrounding the emerging market at the intersection of communications and public safety that is Next Generation 911.  This includes strategic account planning for governmental agencies, large, and small businesses.

Essential Functions:

• Applies personal NG911 expertise and knowledge to the culture, procedures, and needs of targeted customers toward the execution of corporate sales and marketing strategies.

• Carries Hamilton’s unique and effective culture to our customers by clearly and effectively offering solutions that meet customer needs, cultivating internal relationships by building mutual respect, and recognizing that customer, company and personal outcomes are all essential to a healthy and growing business.

• Works to thoroughly understand the technology and services that Hamilton provides and cultivates relationships with internal technical and management resources as a means to that end.

• Proactively organizes and leads implementation and execution of sales and marketing programs(s) tailored to targeted NG911 customer segments that are consistent with company parameters.

• Develops a strong pipeline of opportunities that result in meeting/exceeding sales and marketing objectives as outlined in the Sales and Marketing Plan.

• Coordinates and applies internal and external resources to successfully establish and execute program(s).
 
• Identifies and cultivates strategic relationships with businesses, organizations and potential partners serving specific customer segments while delivering exemplary customer service.

• Serves as the “face” of specific marketing programs by developing and fulfilling program/product presentations at industry/consumer events and public relations opportunities, as well as conducting program training for internal teams.
 
• Interfaces with marketing, sales, product development and customer care teams in the analysis of competitive data, recommendations of modifications and improvements to products/services and implementation of business development initiatives.

• Maintains a strong awareness of technology, business, marketing and regulatory changes occurring within the industry.

• Applies judgment and advises management on applications, procedures, practices and business conditions on a regular basis.

• Familiarity with and ability to sell company services and products including cloud services, data circuits, data center services, business phone systems, IT network, hardware and software support.

• Demonstrates professionalism and integrity in all work situations.

• Manages and develops key customer accounts

• Demonstrates a commitment to accomplishing established goals within allocated budget.

• Maintains comprehensive record keeping in company CRM.

• Significant travel required.

Other Responsibilities:

•  Ability and willingness to work non-standard hours as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned. 


Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, marketing, technology, or related area with five years or more of related experience.

• Experience selling technology solutions.

• Knowledge of Next Generation 911 technology and market, as well as company products and services.

Required:

• Possess strong negotiation, sales, and customer service skills.

• Highly motivated and results driven.

• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient utilization of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point software.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Ability and willingness to travel alone.
