* Position summary: Responsible for generating and qualifying leads through strategic outreach, engaging potential clients, and setting the stage for successful sales conversions in the field of technology sales. Acts as a key player in the early stages of Hamilton’s sales process.
Essential functions:• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify potential clients in the verticals and markets we serve.
• Utilize various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, to generate leads.
• Conduct research on target accounts to personalize outreach efforts.
• Engage with leads to assess their needs, challenges, and suitability for our technology solutions.
• Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and pass on high-potential opportunities to the sales team.
• Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects through compelling messaging.
• Schedule and coordinate initial meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
• Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and scheduled appointments.
• Actively participates in strategic planning efforts.

Preferred education, experience, and skills:• Two- or four-year degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a prior role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess lead quality and optimize outreach strategies.
• Proficient utilization of MS Excel, Word, Power Point software.
• Proficient in using CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and other sales technologies.
• Persuasive and goal-oriented.
• Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
• Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.
