* Position summary: Responsible for coordinating and implementing outreach activities, trainings and demonstrations designed to promote Telecommunication Relay Services, Captioned Telephone Relay Services, and the Equipment Distribution Program (EDP). Requires significant travel.
Essential functions:• Represents Hamilton Relay at various state meetings, provides updates, and interacts with stakeholders on behalf of Hamilton.
• Develops professional networks within Hamilton-contracted states and the Relay community.
• Provides education and guidance to residential, commercial, instructional, and public sectors within the community about relay services and assistive equipment.
• Works as part of the Account Management and Outreach teams and serves as liaison between internal and external departments.
• Develops and implements annual outreach plan designed to promote relay services and assistive equipment through innovative outreach activities.
• Facilitates awareness and encourages involvement in educational events throughout targeted communities (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, individuals who have difficulty speaking, senior citizens, veterans and Spanish speaking individuals) to increase the awareness of relay services and the EDP.
• Coordinates and conducts demonstrations, presentations, exhibits, webinars, and trainings regarding relay services for prospective customers, businesses, agencies, and organizations.
• Coordinates, educates, consults, troubleshoots, and demonstrates equipment and customer facing aspects of the state’s equipment distribution program.
• Identifies the appropriate assistive telecommunications equipment options to best meet a customer’s needs.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple projects and deadlines.
• Significant travel required
Other responsibilities:• Ability and willingness to work non-standard hours as needed including evenings and weekends.
• Communicates technical information effectively to a variety of audiences.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Attends company summits.
Preferred education, experience, and skills:• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in business, public relations, marketing, technology, or related area or comparable work experience.
• Experience in the telecommunications field, Telecommunications Relay Service or Captioned Telephone Service is a strong plus.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent English writing skills.
• Ability to confidently communicate (oral and written) with a wide variety of audiences, including internal colleagues and management staff.
• Ability to plan, schedule, organize and execute multiple projects.
• Capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory bodies and organizations within public, private, and non-profit sectors.
• Knowledge of and ability to understand various communication modes used by current and potential Relay users.

• Strong skills in writing, analyzing, presenting and reporting
• Proficient utilization of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Virtual Platforms (i.e., GoToWebinar, Vidyard, Zoom, etc.) and CRM software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to travel independently.
