Description
Hamilton Telecommunications is seeking a full-time Events Specialist. This position will be responsible for planning, logistics support, and participating in local and regional marketing events across Nebraska as well as providing logistics support for national events. This position will work in the corporate office in Aurora, Nebraska.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the marketing/sales/outreach teams in the promotion of Hamilton products/services through company’s participation in customer events, community events and trade shows.
- Provides content and details to promote events and sponsorships on social media.
- Works with event venue management regarding the acquisition of exhibit space and supporting equipment, electrical, connectivity, etc.
- Attends multiple community and local, as well as some regional events throughout the year.
- Responsible for packing and shipping to and from national and regional marketing events and ensuring teams attending events have all necessary items for successful display and attendance.
- Works with event software for digitally tracking, planning and preparing all details of events.
- Stores and maintains inventory records of all marketing collateral, trade show equipment, materials and related exhibit materials, including replacement and repair of displays and equipment.
- Assists Marketing Coordinators with campaign design, task management and evaluation of marketing initiatives.
- Creates and prepares materials for various forms of media including print, web, social media, email, radio and television.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in marketing, communications, English, business, journalism or related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pack, set up and tear down event displays.
- Effectively organizes and prioritizes multiple deadlines and projects.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing and able to travel independently.
