Position summary:  Actively supports sales and marketing initiatives, team members and communications. Coordinates marketing projects through initiation, planning, execution and production that effectively promote National Programs and products including brochures, fact sheets, customer communications, email campaigns, website content, presentations, content for publications and other promotional materials

Essential functions:

• Supports Hamilton Marketing Management Team and marketing agency through the coordination of the development and production process of marketing materials and advertising efforts in order to meet strategic business objectives.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to initiate, plan, create/edit content, sales tools and supporting materials, training, etc.

• Coordinates promotional materials inventory with National Event Coordinator ensuring that all National Events logistics are managed efficiently and supported with needed program ads, materials, equipment, etc.

• Takes an active role in removing risks, obstacles and barriers impacting the project team. When necessary, escalate these items to the appropriate parties and management to meet project milestones.

• Provides regular and timely feedback on relevant project metrics and timelines to management and marketing agency.

• Coordinates special marketing projects as assigned and may be responsible for leading special project teams as needed to ensure progress, communication and to meet deadlines.

• Interfaces with Hamilton Sales and Marketing Team on a regular basis through participation in team meetings, company meetings, and planning sessions, serving as note taker in such meetings producing minutes and follow-up documentation.

• Coordinates and maintains marketing activity calendar.

• Maintains and coordinates the organization and archiving of marketing materials to ensure easy retrieval.

• Represents Hamilton at outreach functions and/or national marketing events, including tradeshows as applicable.

• Displays strength in attention to detail, creativity and stresses quality in all work situations.


Other responsibilities:

• Provides direct support to the Hamilton Sales and Marketing Team.

• Participates with other departmental staff in the completion of a wide variety of projects as requested.  Plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to deadlines and within budget.       

• Informs multiple departments around marketing activities including customer communications, advertising, etc.

• Possesses an ability, willingness and desire to obtain education through attending seminars related to enhancing marketing and management/leadership skills.

• Travel is required.

• Performs other work-related duties as assigned. 


Preferred education, experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations.

• 3+ years of account management, marketing, project management or related experience.

• Strong communication skills, including outstanding writing skills required.

• Knowledge and/or experience working with individuals or organizations within the senior citizen and/or hard of hearing communities is helpful.

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; CRM and Content Management software.

• Effectively organizes and prioritizes multiple deadlines and projects.

• Experience in project management.

• Proactive and highly organized, with excellent attention time management and follow-up.

• Ability to work independently, as well as perform as part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability and willingness to assess and adjust priorities as projects or timelines shift.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Ability and willingness to travel alone.
