Description

Temporary position working in the Sales department of Hamilton Telecommunications. This position will work closely with business development staff and other business line staff, participating in generating and qualifying leads through strategic outreach, engaging potential clients, and setting the stage for successful sales conversions in the field of technology sales.

Essential functions:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify potential clients in the verticals and markets we serve.
  • Utilize various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, to generate leads.
  • Conduct research on target accounts to personalize outreach efforts.
  • Engage with leads to assess their needs, challenges, and suitability for our technology solutions.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and pass on high-potential opportunities to the sales team.
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects through compelling messaging.
  • Schedule and coordinate initial meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.


Preferred education, experience, and skills:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in applicable field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
  • Self-motivated, dependable individual that works well with others.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Comfortable handling objections and rejections in a positive manner.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
