Description
Hamilton Telecommunications is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer. This position will create and conceptualize visual marketing materials for Hamilton business lines. This is an in-office position working in the corporate office in Aurora, NE.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop design ideas and create marketing materials for Hamilton business lines. Will work with a variety of media including print, web, social media, email, television and will work with media sources to coordinate and deliver advertising.
- Ensure materials are developed in a timely fashion and deadlines are followed.
- Will interact with marketing coordinators and business line team members to understand their needs and develop better products, websites and applications.
- Assist the marketing team with creative ideas and provide creative input for new designs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to make sure all essential design elements are followed and changes are made.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related experience preferred.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent grammar and sharp attention to detail.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred.
- Proficiency in typography, color theory, and design principles to create impactful visuals.
- Experience with website design and/or programming is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively on cross-departmental teams.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- Time management skills to efficiently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Creative ability to overcome design challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Knowledge of design trends. Awareness of industry trends and the ability to integrate them into projects.
