Position summary:
Works as part of the corporate Marketing team executing content strategy and providing valuable market information through marketing analysis and reports. Writes, develops, and implements content and provides market research that aligns industry trends and marketing best practices. Will work closely with the marketing, sales, and business line teams to implement effective content marketing through various media sources including digital, video, print, direct marketing, direct sales efforts, radio and more. Assists the Marketing Strategist with the planning and execution of sales and marketing activities and efforts as assigned for Hamilton’s diverse business lines.
Essential functions:
- Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and implement content aligned with the company’s objectives, target audience and industry trends.
- Creates engaging and impactful content across various platforms, including website, blog, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Stays up to date with emerging content marketing trends.
- Conducts research and collects information to identify target markets and industry trends.
- Performs analysis on competition, customer behavior, and growth opportunities for Hamilton’s various business lines.
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing initiatives, including the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Utilizes CRM and project management tools for efficiency including Oracle Engagement Cloud and JIRA. Utilizes Adobe Creative Suites, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and Excel for creation and design of marketing materials.
- Assists with the development of internal and external communication; ensures efficient/effective communication with staff, vendors, and customers.
- Ensure brand consistency and follows Hamilton brand standards.
- Stresses the highest quality of work with strict attention to detail in all work situations.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all relevant items, projects, and issues.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees. Will work closely with NSC and Relay Marketing Teams, Division Line Managers, Sales and Customer Service Team Members.

- Willingness and ability to work outside of or beyond normal hours depending on circumstances, such as deadlines and problems.
Education, experience, and skills:
- Bachelor or Associate Degree in marketing, communications, English, business, journalism, or related experience preferred.
- Experience in content development and market research.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent grammar and sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with customer relationship management and project management software tools, Adobe Creative Suites including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
